🍽 What I eat to maintain my physique!

Last week, you voted through my IG stories for me to share what I eat. So, OK. I will.

✅ Disclaimer: I've had gut health issues for a few years & last summer, it made me lose a creative spark to share my food anymore. Food is [ c o m p l i c a t e d ].

Issues like:

‼️ EXCESSIVE GAS

‼️ BLOATING

‼️ BOWEL ISSUES

‼️ BODY ACNE

‼️ CHRONIC YEAST INFECTIONS

Towards the end of 2019, my naturopath suggested my gut is over fermented and the chronic stress from grief and anxiety wasn’t helping. After that appointment, I gave up primarily #plantbased eating and went back to a #flexitarian lifestyle. A few of those issues are easing up, but there's still questions. I'm not out of the woods yet.

Considering my experience, I don't want to influence you to combine the same foods as me. I'm still trying to figure out what foods bother me. So far, my body reacts from:

🚫 ONIONS

🚫 GARLIC

🚫 EGGPLANT

🚫 TOMATOES

🚫 BELL PEPPERS

✅ Second Disclaimer: I am NOT a Registered Dietician nor am I a Certified Nutrition Coach. But nutrition is a huge interest for a #fitlife that so is gut health.

Below are a few meals I shared on IG. I'm always on a budget, but I choose to fit in the affordable real foods. I find most luxious ingedients at Grocery Outlet (like cacao nibs for $4.99 vs $10+. Since #COVID, I tend to eat the same ingredients each week just mixed a little differently each time. Meals like fried brown rice with eggs, kale, and coconut aminos or toast of choice with coconut oil, sliced bananas, chia seeds, cacao nibs, and cinnamon.

✨ Check out my stories on IG for the most food shares. I’ll be sure to post meals occasionally on my feed too. I don't know if they're balanced well between carbs, proteins, fats. I'm learning though and I’ll share along the way.

Happy Health ✨
